Tax Day demonstrators demand Trump release taxes

Tax Day marches are scheduled in three North Carolina cities to protest President Donald Trump refusing to release his tax returns.

ALLEN: After spending the morning at his golf club, the president's motorcade took a circuitous route back to Mar-a-Lago, one that seemed aimed at avoiding protesters. Yesterday, in Washington, New York and dozens of other cities, protesters loudly said that's not the case.

Protest organizers are demanding that Donald Trump release his tax returns and urging lawmakers to pass laws requiring presidential candidates to release them.

And though he and his surrogates have said often that he would release them when the audits were complete, there's no way to independently verify that the audits of his returns from years past are still ongoing.

Under the settlement, Google can not stop smartphone makers from pre-installing competing search engine apps on their devices. In October 2015, Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service ruled that Google violated the country's anti-monopoly laws.

She says there's nothing to prevent Trump from releasing his income taxes and that "the simple truth is he's got a lot to hide".

Trump says nobody cares.

Tuesday is the deadline for taxpayers to file returns. She said she was concerned that conflicts of interest in Trump's tax returns might foreshadow selfish interests in his tax reform policies.

Violence erupted at one of those rallies, and many people were arrested in Berkeley, Calif., where groups that support and oppose the president clashed.

But foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang distanced his government from the decision and said it was purely "market-based". If the North were to attempt a nuclear strike, Pence said, the USA response would be "overwhelming and effective".

The White House did confirm information in a partial 2005 federal tax return that was leaked last month.

Joe Dinkin, spokesman for the Working Families Party, one of the groups organizing the marches, said investigations into the Trump campaign's alleged connections to Russian Federation underscore the need to disclose his returns.

Kinzinger's comments came after press secretary Sean Spicer dealt another blow to transparency advocates Monday, announcing that Trump's 2016 tax returns are under audit and therefore would not be released. And Republican Rep. Jeff Denham of California added, "I'm not going to ask the previous President that I served under to show his birth certificate any more than I would ask this President to show his taxes". How else are we know to when the president is working for us or for The Trump Organization?

Republicans also have rebuffed Democrats' efforts to get the House Ways and Means Committee to act.
