Bezel-less iPad Pro renders envision what Apple could launch next year

Apple's 2018 iPad will reportedly ditch the home button in favor of Face ID, a feature that made its debut on the iPhone X earlier this month, according to Bloomberg.

Obviously, Apple taking the technical achievements of its iPhone X and spreading them around its other products was bound to happen, but if it really is in the next iPad revision then Apple's moving pretty quickly to capitalize on its main iPhone X innovations.

The removal of the Home button would allow for much thinner bezels around an iPad display.

Veteran Ashish Nehra has been picked only for the first T20I in New Delhi , which is slated to be his last match. To lead the spin attack, the selectors have shown trust on Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar Patel.

Apple is probably also limiting the number of devices that feature an OLED display simply because of the shortage.

Apple is planning to overhaul its iPad for 2018, slicing away bezels along with the TouchID fingerprint sensor.

While the new iPad Pro concept looks visually flawless, Twitter has been quick to react pointing out that a bezel-less display of that magnitude may cause problems, with some worrying that accidental touches may hamper the user experience.

And the PS4 exclusive announcements didn't end here, as the company also revealed a beta for the game starting on December 9. It will also include Palico armor that makes the player's Palico look like one of the machines from Horizon: Zero Dawn .

After years in steady decline, the iPad has bounced back to post year-on-year growth in the last couple of quarters.

One key iPhone X enhancement that is unlikely to make its way to iPads next year is an OLED - or organic light-emitting diode - screen, according to people familiar with Apple's supply chain. An improved Apple Pencil is also under development and expected to launch alongside the updated tablet. (I think I'd value that more than Face ID, personally.) Bloomberg estimates that the launch is about a year out, so we might not see it until fall 2018, and the report warns that Face ID integration could be nixed due to supply issues between now and then. Apple's facial recognition feature is used like Touch ID to unlock a user's device and for approving payments using Apple Pay.
