In case you wanted something engrossing to keep you distracted from family squabbles this holiday, a special gift just arrived: Civilization VI, which is now available as a $30 purchase for iPad via the App Store.
The latest entry in the turn-based strategy series requires iOS 11 on an iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, or any iPad Pro in order to be played.
The free version is limited to 60 moves (maybe half an hour or so of gameplay), then you have to pay the $60 upgrade price to unlock the full game. It's marked down 50 percent to $30, both on Steam for PC and in the App Store for iPad.

This sale offers discounts on recently launched handsets and accessories and Re 1 flash sales to be held at 2pm on both days. Xiaomi smartphone cases and covers will be available at up to Rs 100 off as a limited period offer, during the sale.
The new game's price is $60. However, with the release of a full game for the iPad, it looks like the franchise is eyeing the mobile industry as its target market.
It's worth keeping in mind that based on the information stated on the App Store page of Sid Meier's Civilization VI, the game will consume around 3.14GB of storage. Graphics seem to have taken a small hit in quality in the jump from PC to iPad, but other than that, this should be a true-to-form release. And the team behind the partnership have assured players that the game itself has been completely reworked to specifically fit the iPad's control system. However, the game's previous attempts at mobile ports are not exactly that great.
Given the fact that this whole game series appeared first on mobile devices, Aspyr, to be precise (the same who introduced Firaxis on Apple devices), it's astonishing that they made a decision to let it hit the market on the Apple store, let alone on the very new model of iPads.
