The HuffPo story says Morgan Stanley has confirmed Ford's dismissal "for conduct inconsistent with our values and in violation of our policies".
Ford, who represented Tennessee in the House between 1997 and 2007, vehemently denied allegations that a woman was forced to call a security guard after he intimidated and grabbed her one evening in Manhattan several years ago.

Ford Jr., who is the son of former Rep. Harold Ford Sr., is the latest high-profile male to lose his job due to harassment or sexual misconduct allegations.
An attorney for Ford said in a statement that "Morgan Stanley has still not told Harold directly of his termination, and unlike every other circumstance I've been in the company has refused to provide me with a reason".
