Houston police: Intoxicated man found with weapons in downtown hotel room

At 1:30 a.m. on December 31, while escorting Ziemba to his hotel room, the officer called for urgent backup after his attempts to subdue the man failed.
Officers went to his room on the 28th floor to get his things and that's when they made the discovery. At least 23 were in his hotel room and included assault-style rifles that appeared to have been modified to convert them into machine guns, so that he could fire more rounds faster.
