Passengers flee horror ferry explosion on party boat at popular Brit resort

None of the injuries were life-threatening, the Associated Press reported.
THIS is the moment a fireball rips through a packed ferry docked in the Mexican resort of Playa del Carmen injuring 25.
"The priority is people. The report we're receiving is that there are individuals wounded by splinters", Cristina Torres, municipal president, told Mexican newspaper El Universal. The ferry's route was from Playa del Carmen to the island of Cozumel.

The municipal statement said the explosion happened when passengers were getting off the boat, and the cause was not yet known.
Authorities in Quintana Roo are investigating the shocking incident.
