'Black Panther' Surpasses 'Star Wars' As Most Tweeted About Movie Ever

Domestically, "Black Panther" is poised to soon pass 2012's "The Avengers" ($623.4 million) as the biggest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is now down to third. The film, which stars Chadwick Boseman and is directed by Ryan Coogler, has amassed more than 35 million tweets. So far the film has made more than $1.1 billion worldwide.

Now, according to the Associated Press, Black Panther has pawed its way into another historical moment, becoming the most tweeted about movie ever.
