Putin, Erdogan Hold Joint Press Conference

The Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK) granted the country's first nuclear power plant, Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), a construction license on Monday that would allow it to build a unit of the plant.
The sides were expected to discuss economic issues, the implementation of strategic projects such as the Akkuyu nuclear power plant as well as the delivery of Russian S-400 air defense systems to Turkey.
Turkey and Russia have made a decision to shorten the duration of the S-400 air defense missile systems' delivery, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on April 3, speaking in the presidential complex in Ankara in a joint press conference held with his Turkish counterpart.
