Musk shows first underground LA tunnel for high-speed Loop system

Musk posted a video of the tunnel to his Instagram page Thursday night with the caption, "First Boring Company tunnel under LA nearly done!" The first rides in the Boring Company tunnel will be free. Musk claims that he will be able to offer free demo rides to the public in just a few months, pending some "final regulatory approvals", as he wrote on Instagram.
In recent news, the PayPal founder posted a video on Instagram showing one of the rail systems in action. Such rides would presumably involve rolling down the tunnel's track on the pods that would eventually become part of the Boring Company's transit system, with priority given to pedestrians and bicyclists.
In typical Musk fashion, he didn't release other details.
